This was super fun! It took a really, REALLY long time though, probably because I kept putting the new lineart on the same layer as the original one XD. I’m really proud of this, though! I tried out some things that I haven’t before, and it ended up looking awesome! Except for the fact that Scratch completely BUTCHERED the quality. So this is my OC Kai (no, that was not on purpose, I named him long before I stumbled upon your account) whom I still need to make a ref sheet for. Welp, you know what’s coming. Dramatic backstory time! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Come with me!” Kai yelled, looking back at the figure pressed against the wall. The room was burning quickly; he had underestimated his powers. “No! You were the one that started the fire!” Kai nodded. “Yes, I was! But I can take you to safety!” “I can’t trust you!” The figure screeched. “Come with me!” Kai yelled one last time. The flames were pressing in. He would try to rescue her, but she would probably try to run away, only to find she was being tricked by the flames. Kai blinked, a tear rolling down the side of his cheek. This was what he got for wanting revenge. His best friend was about to die. Kai could remember it now, clearly. He had been playing with his friend when the other kids went up and teased him. Words could hurt, but so could fire. Kai had trapped his best friend in her house, growling, “Why did you join in instead of defending your best friend? We aren’t even friends. Friends would do this to each other.” It was easy, really, starting a fire. He had found an old wire and touched it, willing it to spark and let loose the red monster he was now trying to fight. The flames were burning hotter and brighter. The tips were blue. It had never gotten this hot before. Kai looked back one more time, gasping, and saw his friend. All that was left of her were ashes.
