Think about the role you want them to play in the story! (ex, tough deputy might have a scar, and a sweet kit might like flowers!) Get a good backstory going! Add little things, to make them seem more alive. (ex, "Redpaw was always shy, up until he saw a battle, and realized he had to defend his clan.") Don't name names in the backstory! I might pick a different mate for the character, or maybe erase part of the backstory! NONE OF THIS IS CANNON TO YOU!
