(The proportions are so wrong idk what i was doing (An edit by me almost a year later (aka me on the 18'th of May 2021)).)
This is no ordinary firefly on my hand. If you look at his wings, you can see they are crooked. He was crawling helplessly on the ground when I found him. I gently picked him up to try to give him a better take off point. That's when I saw his crooked wings. At first he couldn't open his wings. When he finally did, he opened and closed them over and over until he took off. I was happy, until I found him in the grass a few seconds later. He kept flashing as if he were asking other fireflies for help. he didn't try to take off again. I guess his wings were too crooked to fly. It was really dark, so I set him in a garden and went inside. I came out the next morning and saw he was gone. I hope he was able to fly away to join the other fireflies. A true story experienced by @Lost-spirit (Me).
