*UPDATE* I am currently taking a break from this project but am hoping to finish soon :). (9/19/22) *UPDATE* Deadline moved to 2023 (9/19/22) *IMPORTANT UPDATE* School has started so i will be making changes at lower rates. (8/8/22) UPDATE ~ Starting at the new year I will work more on this! (9/19/22) ♪┏(・o･)┛♪ This project has been a work in progress for 4 years this being the best version! ♪┗ ( ･o･) ┓♪ This project is not finished. I am hoping to get two characters finished by summer of 2023. It is in the Pre-Alpha stage right now, and I am testing if certain things will work. This game will not be in the Beta stage for a good amount of time. Let me know down in the comments if you find a good sprite sheet for link. ___________________________________________________ CONTROLS Player one controls O = normal P = special arrow keys (example) left arrow key and p = side special ___________________________________________________ Update Log 12/20/20 You can now move left and the game has less glitches. In the next update, I will be trying to fix the glitch of doing two powers at once. 12/22/20 I have worked some more on the backgrounds. I also added music. Kirby can now jump left and glide after jumping either direction. 12/26/20 I fixed the background changes of the game but is still not finished with the backgrounds. I also fixed a couple of the glitches of doing double moves. 12/28/20 I fixed some of the backdrop timing glitches and am in the middle of making another of the transitions in backgrounds. 1/1/21 I worked on the later parts of bacgrounds and will hopefully get the backdrops needed to play the game by the end of february 1/2/21 I worked on the ability to click on different things and will work more on debugging the glitches of doing multiple powers at once. 1/4/21 School has started today and I will be working less on this. Today i finished some stuff that will not be shown until I finish the other parts. 2/2/21 Taking a break about a month. 3/15/21 I worked on the stage select screen and added a control screen. 3/16/21 Worked on character select screen (sorry these are such small updates :( this is mainly because i have to create backgrounds myself.) 3/17/21 I worked on the back arrow and character select screen. Fixed a few minor bugs with the back arrow. 3/18/21 I worked on the character select screen and now added the final destination map! Soon I will work on adding kirby's intro into the map. 4/12/21 PAST 300 VIEWS YAY!!!!!!!!! 5/3/21 Fixed some issues that cause lag by limitting the amount of stuff happening at once. 6/11/21 Worked on transition to the selected stadium. 6/15/21 Worked on kirby intro 8/17/21 I FIXED THE MAJOR BUG of the ability to do multiple powers at once :) ! Spent 3 hours today. 8/19/21 Worked on vault and the final destination map boundaries. 9/9/21 Worked on back arrow for all pages to go to the correct backdrop. 9/16/21 minor changes with music selections, worked on kirbys powers some more. 10/4/21 Worked on intro! might temporarily disable the intro so it is easier to work on.
