{ SPACE } ( There are different forms ) Hai! This is my entry for Koi! I hope you like it ^w^ Name: CatFish. Gender: Female. Personality: Shy, Kind, Calm, Quiet, Soft, Intelligent, Not very social, Likes to cook and grow plants, Is obsessed with koi fish, Japanese, Caring. Forms: Human, Koi, Dragon. CatFish was once a koi. She swam around the koi fish pond, being a normal koi. One day, that koi looked up and saw outside the pond. I wonder what is over there... that koi thought. Every day, it would look up and see more things than it saw before. She saw humans, cars, a building, a sign, a bench, plants, and so much more. Soon, she realized that she was in a pond in front of a sushi restaurant. All her life was spent inside there, but she wanted to explore. The next few days she devised a plan while all the other koi were mindlessly eating and swimming. After a few hours, her plan was complete. When no one was looking, she swam to the bottom of the pond and thrust herself into the air. She was flying! Just then, gravity. She flopped to the ground. The koi gasped and shook around on the ground. The koi realized that the plan was not complete. She would die. As she lay on the ground, moving around, something in the sky shook. It was a cloud. No wait.. two clouds. From one cloud, a huge transparent, eastern dragon emerged, eyeing the koi fish below. The dragon looked at her in curiosity and sadness. The spirit knew that the koi fish was not like the others. Just then, the spirit shot its head back and blew a mysterious mist at the koi. The koi lay still. At the same moment, another spirit emerged, this time a human spirit. The spirit knew that the fish was smarter and wanted to give it life. With the huge staff it was holding, it shot another mysterious spirit at the koi. Both of the spirits vanished behind the clouds afterward. The koi shook and turned a blinding orange color. The shape of the koi turned super large and then into a human-shape. The blinding light disappeared and there lay a human, shivering and wet. The girl looked around, and then at herself. She admired the clothes that she wore that were once scales. She wobbly stood up, gripping a pole to balance her. Just then, the door to the restaurant burst open and a man stood in the doorway. The man yelled something in Japanese and then set eyes on the girl. His face softened. The man lent a hand to the girl and the girl took it. The man took her inside and cooked her some sushi. He asked the girl questions. The girl answered them. He was very confused but knew that she needed a name. "CatFish. CatFish shall be your name." The man said with a Japanese accent. "CatFish.." The girl repeated, liking the name. She hugged the man and smiled. The man hugged back. A few weeks afterward, the girl learned many things on how to make sushi. She learned to cook and to roll the rolls. She also cooked some Miso soup with the man who was now her stepfather. His name was Kai. Kai took CatFish for a walk in the woods one day. He asked if CatFish knew how to turn into another form. CatFish thought. She noticed that she felt something at the edge of her mind that allowed her to. She turned the blinding orange and shifted into a wonderous dragon. Kai's jaw opened wide. Then he hopped around gleefully, clapping his hands. He hugged CatFish. From that day on, CatFish lives with her father, Kai. They own a sushi restaurant and lived happily. I hope you enjoyed it!!!! Did you know, that the restaurant was not a fragment of my imagination? There is an actual restaurant called Teru Sushi. ( The one in LA )That was the restaurant idea! There's also a koi fish pond in front of it.
