Go follow him, this project would not exist if he hadn't suggested it. ➵ So today, I'll be showing you how I draw! This time I will attempt to draw our Solar System. ✂ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ➵ Press right/left arrows or space to navigate. ➵ If you're on mobile, tap on the left or right side of the screen. ➵ Press the speaker icon to mute or unmute the music. ➵ There are 6 slides in total. THE LAST SLIDE is the one with no transition (and the only slide with stars). You should be able to see a parallax-ish effect. You won't be able to go back or forward, so click the flag if you want to restart. ✂ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - THE PROCESS: 1. basic sketch: ➵ just a sketch, no need to add rings or features yet! I do this to get a good idea of where things will go. 2. base colors: ➵ I usually just fill each object with one color, or if it's really multicolored, I do its main colors. For me, objects rarely keep one color throughout the drawing process; I often change them around a LOT :P look inside and you can see how the colors are changing :D 3. Basic features, shading + lighting: ➵ I normally use one color for the features to get a good start. I also added basic shading and lighting. If you look closely (or go fullscreen) you can see that Saturn's rings have basic shading too. For the dark areas, the color is usually the light color minus 10. 4 - 5. details: ➵ For Earth, I used reshaped circles and also added our Moon. I used reshaped rectangles for Jupiter. I didn't include adding Saturn's rings in this section because I think they're Saturn's biggest feature and personally think that they should be in the basic features section. 6. Finished! I added a basic sun glow and some stars :D ✂ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Want to use this? Just ask, and if I say yes (I most likely will), make sure to give credit! I don't like people claiming that they made an art piece that's not theirs.
