I haven't shared anything in almost 8 months (!!!), so here's a little something for you! I've been playing around with the pen setting on scratch, and it's pretty neat! Here are some patterns I have created. ㋡ Instructions ㋡ - Just type in one of the options the pencil says! - Make sure to spell your choice correctly. The "app" is pretty simple, so it will end if you spell something wrong. ㋡ Designs ㋡ - Glass creates some pretty random lines that are opaque. After a while, your screen looks like stained glass! - Sky has two modes which the computer randomly chooses. One is vertical lines that resemble tiny buildings. The second option looks like a cross-section of a building - Spray generates a bunch of lines in a "spraylike" formation (I'm very bad at explaining it lol) - Square is pretty straightforward. It generates squares - Tracker is free-draw, but you can't lift your pen. It quite literally tracks your mouse - Dots! It generates dots (yippee!!) - Swirl is a bit of a work-in-progress. Swirl creates a bunch of lopsided circles or a big, rotating circle. I can't really seem to generate true swirls. Any suggestions? - And last but not least, hearts. I am particularly proud of this one. It took me a while to get right, and I am really happy I did! You can choose if you want your hearts to conform to a palette or not!
This project is pretty primitive, so hopefully I'll share a cleaner version that is easier to use! As usual, I am open to any comments, constructive or not! If you have a design you'd like me to code, just type it down below!
