Okay. Artemis. Your designs are amazing. xD. They are incredible and I must enter all of them lol. Also, beware- Story is long. - Name : Jay Gender : Male Species : Soras (I'll be releasing a species soon :D) Little species definition : Soras are a species of cat-like creatures. They live mountains, and southern and northern forest. They are usually light colored, and often have the pallets of a specific bird. They are usually named after the bird they resemble.Once the Sora turns to the age of 12 (they age in human years), they are sent through The Trials. Each tribe of Sora has their own trail in which they perform the Trials. It is a difficult, hazardous path in order to reach their sacred grounds, where the young Soras are fully welcomed into the Tribe, as they perform a ceremony and earn wings. However, less than half the Soras that go through The Trials survive. Anywho, on with the bio! Likes : Birds, Specifically Blue Jays, Clouds, watching others fly, fluffy things. Dislikes : The ground, Dirt, Being told what to do, Water Backstory : When Jay turned twelve, he, along with his sister Robin, were sent on their path of The Trials. When Jay and Robin were shakily climbing along the edge of a cliff to reach the sacred ruins, Jay lost his footing and fell. It was a deep fall, and no Sora was to venture beyond the mountain. He fell into the ocean, and was washed ashore, unconscious. Once he woke up, it was a special night, as the Northern Lights were occurring. That was lucky for him, because they would guide him back to his home, and to the Sacred Ruins. He followed the lights, and made his way home. With much surprise, as he had been considered dead. He earned the Sacred Ceremony, and has been serving his Tribe ever since as an honored member, as he was the first of his case. Now, here's a story to have even more detail of it :) Sorry this is allot to read- Story : Jay woke up with a yawn, and stretched. His thoughts were still foggy, the sun was still rising. He saw his sister, Robin, anxiously grooming her self. That's when it clicked in his head. //The Trials... They're happening today.// He thought. He stood up, and approached his sister, hoping to cheer her up. "Hey... It'll be alright. We'll do great. Somebody's gotta make it, right? They can't have the Tribe missing a generation of Soras." he said quietly. Robin looked at him, her eyes on the verge of tears. "Y-yeah..." The guard Soras walked into the room, equipped with armor in case of a Sora fought back. "The Queen says that Robin and Jay reside here. May we escort them to The Trial Route?" he said with a loud voice. Jay felt his legs shaking. //Don't fight back...// Last year, a Sora named Hawk had attack the guards while they attempted to escort him to The Trail, and he was thrown into the ocean in front of the tribe. //You can't swim... Just go to The Trail, and survive.// he thought. Jay stepped forward, and quietly mewed. "Yeah... Robin and I are here." he mewed. The lead guard dipped his head, while the two behind stepped out of the den to make room. "Please follow us." Jay nudged Robin, trying to smile. "Just go with them... Theres usually about 20 that go on The Trail... At least we can make friends with them." he whispered. Robin shakily nodded her head. -Quick Time-Skip to when they're at the beginning of the trail- The Queen and King had come to attend the ceremony. The Queen was upon a stage, and The King stood behind her on a throne. Those who were going through The Trials were to sit closest to the stage. The Queen cleared her throat. "Hello to you all, the oldest, battle-scarred Soras, to the youngest, prepared to serve. Today is a special day. Today, is the day we shall see who is fit enough to serve our tribe. It is a sadness that so many of these young souls must be lost, but it is for the good of the tribe. I wish you all luck. Now, it is time to assign numbers to each of the young ones so they know when they are to begin The Trials. Our guards will be giving you your numbers now. Best of luck." Jay and Robin were assigned 12 and 13. //12 is the unlucky number...// Jay thought nervously. After someone named Crow was sent on The Trail, Jay was escorted to the cliff. The beginning was a bridge that was somewhat wobbly, and what made it worse was that there was about 5 of them on it. Jay gripped his claws onto the wood when he was halfway through, and looked over his shoulder. he heaved a sigh of relief. Robin was behind him. Her eyes were wide with fear, but she was holding on. Jay put his paw forward, not looking where he was going. He heard a shriek, and looked infront of him. His paw had stepped on the back leg of black she cat with golden eyes, and she was losing balance. She tried to walk forward, but the wood fell out from under her. The cat infront of her, Quail, looked over her shoulder and shouted 'No!' as she lost balance and plummeted (C)
(Continued because dis be long xD) down, and landed with a thud on the cold stone floor of the mountain. Jay felt his legs shaking... Quail seemed to be on the brink of tears, but she knew. She knew what would happen if they saw weakness. //They'll send the guards and have her sent into the ocean... Just like Hawk.// Jay thought. The line kept moving, being even more cautious now. Jay and Robin made it to a stone pillar. Infront of it was a long, narrow cliff, on one side a plummet into the ocean and the other side a steep mountain. Jay looked at her. "They... expect us to survive this?" he asked. Robin shakily nodded. Jay heard shriek after shriek from the bridge, but he didn't look back. Instead, he focused on putting one paw at a time to try and make it. He remembered that after this, they would be at the Sacred Ruins. They were almost there. Robin was lost in thought. Qual was her friend. Crow was Quail's sister. If they lived... what would Quail do? She looked up, realizing Quail was slipping, her big paws didn't fit on the narrow ledge. She shrieked as Quail fell into the ocean, and could only watch as she flailed before sinking down. Jay looked over his shoulder, he hadn't been paying attention to other cats. He had heard his sister's shriek. He realized that she hadn't fallen, but it was too late. He misplaced his paw, and fell. He heard her scream, before everything went dark. -Quick timeskip to night, sorry this is so long x3- Jay blinked himself awake, and looked up at the starry night sky. //Where am I? Didn't I fall? What happened? Why am I not dead?// He looked around, and saw the stone pillar with a mystical, teal glow at the top. Jay stood up. His legs ached, but he ran. There were stairs around the pillar just in case, but they had never been used. Jay ran up, his bones feeling broken, but he ran. He made it to the top, and he realized just in time. Robin was crying in the middle of the ceremony circle as Jay made it up. She looked up at the sounds of paw steps, then began crying of joy. The queen looked up with a calm smile, hiding her surprise. "Jay. You made it. Come, you can show your sister how to do it." Jay dipped his head, and walked into the center of the glowing teal circle engraved in the ground as Robin backed up. He closed his eyes. The queen whispered something, and he felt something that felt like wind breeze against his back. He opened his eyes, then looked over his shoulder. He had done it. Everything a Sora ever wanted. He stared in awe at his light blue wings. He had done it. -- The End -- WOO Sorry for being so long I'll try to enter up more stuff later x3
