What do you get when you stick the largest gun in the US Army to a M-26 Pershing chassis? The T-92 Howitzer Motor Carriage had a 240mm (9.8 in) Howitzer M1 Artillery Gun as its's main weapon. It wasn't much a tank as a self propelled artillery gun because it had to stop to fire and it couldn't carry it's own ammunition. The "tank" part of it was only to move it around. It also had a sister self propelled artillery gun, the T-93, which had an 8 inch (203mm) gun.
