➦ WELCOME After many months, it is here! You guys rallied together in the comments section, telling me (and occasionally threatening me) to continue on. So, I give you.... WINGS OF FIRE: AUDIO RECOUNTING || CHAPTER ONE This will probably take a moment to load, so read this description as you wait, and hopefully you enjoy the Chapter enough to love and favorite! <3 This episode was certainly a labor of love. I've worked on it quite a bit the last week or two to get it ready to post for my 4-year Scratchiversary. (It's crazy that this children's website has kept me addicted for so long.) Ty for many good memories :) The voice actors and artist spent time contributing wonderful material, and I myself spent many many hours compiling, voicing, and editing. I encourage you to listen to the entire thing... and ENJOY! Press the flag and make sure your sound is up. At any time press C to toggle captions. Run time: 14 minutes, 40 seconds ➦ HAVEN'T LISTENED TO THE PROLOGUE?https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/318309796/ ➦ FAQ's: (feel free to ask more in the comments below) Q: When will Chapter 2 be released? A: I've gotten enough support for the Recounting--and at this point it's enough of a passion project--that for now I will continue producing chapters. However at this time there is unfortunately no set schedule. Q: This looks really cool! How can I be involved? A: If you wish to be involved in the future, consider entering your art. (You can do this by following the 'Art Slots and Submissions' link I have provided below.) All art is accepted, no matter your experience. Q: What if art's not really my thing? Can I voice act? A: While all of the characters are currently cast (with a few exceptions), many of my VA's are inactive, so there is every possibility I will need to reopen voice auditions, or simply contact people individually. Let me know if you'd be interested. Q: How come part of the time the screen's blank? A: This adaptation of Wings of Fire is intended to be enjoyed primarily via audio, and so any visual (art) elements exist because scratchers were interested in creating art for a certain scene. In this case there was only one such scratcher, @GreenBearGirl (And it's amazing!) Q: Wow, I didn't know this was still a thing. A: Yep :) I've never forgotten, even if it would have been more convenient to do so. While this adaptation has changed from a full on animated series to a [basically] audio drama, and suffered from the 'first series' syndrome so often seen on scratch, I have always been passionate about bringing this story to you guys in some form. Q: How did you make this? A: After transferring the dialogue (and putting other parts into narrator lines) I had voice actors record, then compiled it all into Audacity. Audacity made audio manipulation much easier than scratch would have. Then I edited and added sound effects. Exported, compressed, then put it in the project (with some coding) and voilà. ➦ RELEVANT LINKS: Official Studio: Art Slots and Submissions: [OPEN] Prologue: ➦ CREDITS Story: Tui T.
