update: after talking to @karenb about this pen problem (I am pen-obsessed, I know) - she suggested a hacky thing of just redrawing the pen at every step, which worked! There's a couple times where it starts and it's buggy, but I'll call it good enough for now :) If I had more time, I'd fix the bug where there's some "residual" pen when it starts...also something would happen when the count reached 10 or something...It was a good use of my favorite Getting Unstuck strategy: "Ask a friend" earlier reflection: Pen: I couldn't figure out an easy way to draw the pen and then have it erase in a way that made sense, so it just vanished... it's a weird visual bug, I admit! I debated just drawing the line on the sprite itself but wanted to see if I could use the pen...any help here is deeply appreciated! Picture of Howl: my own!
