This is representative of the cycle that many words in languages take. Over hundreds to thousands of years, words will gradually change their sound, like "book". Then a separate word, like "little" or "baby", can slowly attach itself onto the word to make a new word, like "booklet". This word will then break down as well, and eventually its meaning might broaden to just "book". Then the cycle repeats. Thank you linguistics Youtubers (like Biblaridion and Artifexian) and authors (like Guy Deutscher) for teaching about this subject. Some pictures are from the Wikimedia Commons. This only supports the 26 English letters (lowercase), though those letters are representative of what they represent in the International Phonetic Alphabet. "Q" is the voiceless uvular stop, "J" is the voiced palatal approximant, etc. There's a few easter eggs as well.
