Press the green flag to begin. Use the arrow keys to make the seagull fly around until something interesting happens. You will know. Then, just enjoy!
Day 3: Create a project where two sprites are doing something different at the same time. My process . . . First, I decided to work with a seashore theme. I wanted wave sounds and seagulls to be part of the soundscape, and used broadcast to help coordinate sounds with events. Generally worked well, but there were many broadcast blocks. Used one sprite to organize sounds. Next, I needed certain sprites. Seagulls, and a few others. I took a duck sprite and modified it by reshaping the feet and beak and by changing the colour. I also played around with a donut sprite as you can see. Another thing . . .Yesterday, I worked with speech bubbles. Today, I wanted to try adding text a different way, so drew speech bubbles as part of backgrounds and added text. I liked the randomness of earlier projects, so I tried to put random motion into this one. Last of all, since I worked with music yesterday, I didn't have the opportunity to use the keyboard to make characters move, so I thought it would be fun to add that to trigger the story. It was fun experimenting with the set rotation block.
