Dots and Numbers is a game for two players. Find someone to play the game with you! (or you could play against yourself like I did when I made this project, but it won't be as fun) Who did you play against, and who won? +++ INSTRUCTIONS +++ • Two players take turns drawing lines between any two adjacent vertices (points). • If a 1⨯1 square is formed, the player who completed it will claim the value held inside that square. • Once all nine squares are completed, the player who has the HIGHER AVERAGE (NOT THE HIGHER TOTAL) of all their claimed values wins. • If one of you does not claim any values (yes, it's possible), your average is 0. +++ CONTROLS +++ • Click/tap in the space between any two points to join them with a line. Simple, no? —————————————————— Based on the traditional pencil-and-paper game "Dots and Boxes". My math teacher made a version of it like this, which we sometimes played in math class. She called it "Mean Dots", but that just doesn't sound right to me, hence the name "Dots and Numbers".
