We watched Doctor Who last night, which was full of good pep talks for the pandemic, and I was particularly inspired by this quote: "These are the dark times. But they don't sustain. Darkness never sustains, even though sometimes it feels like it might." I originally intended to only spend an hour on this...but it got away from me. Drawing all my own sprites (except the tree)...was time intensive. Setting up all the clones...also a lot. And then the color-sensing toggling was reversed somehow? IDK. At any rate, this project was challenging, but I'm amazed I drew + watercolored so many different things. The black is supposed to be 2020, the blue is the future...perhaps 2021?
