This is an additional mode for Getting Over It by @griffpatch, now with more tolerable standards and less stress! Disclaimer: I know the whole appeal of "Getting Over It" is that every mistake you make is detrimental to your progress, but some people don't want that kind of stress. This isn't a replacement, just an extra mode. Full Credit to @griffpatch for the original game. Nearly every asset was made by him, so this is in no way meant to be a rip off of that. Play in fullscreen for optimal play. Q and R together reset the level. Mouse is for moving the mallet. Anything else (and things I mentioned) are in the original project. Please check it out.
All changes made are to remove stress from the game, for people who get easily tense from video games. However, if you complete this mode, I strongly urge you to at least try the original. It may be difficult, but it is possible. Changes: -Hammer has been upgraded to a Mallet, making for a larger grip on ledges and various terrain. Obviously, the hitbox is enlarged, too, not just the costume. I had to minorly edit the terrain to accommodate for the size of the mallet. -Added walking, making it so you can space better. A little bit off to get that perfect launch? Walk a bit to the right to get the perfect positioning. This is why he has legs, and I gave him boots to compensate for the clunky sounds made when landing. The arrows are used for horizontal movement. Some ledges you'll definitely have to climb, though. -Added respawns upon falling from great heights. If you're airborne for a while, you'll likely be respawned. Minor mistakes won't give you respawns, though. Water also respawns you. -Added a jump, making it a bit easier to make tricky precisions where you need to jump to reach it, so you have an easier time not having to push off, then wheel your mallet around and risk hitting a wall and launching back. You can push off with the mallet to get a midair jump, though it won't refresh until you feet touch the ground. -Added a save state option. Press S to save your location and L to load it. If the respawns aren't working, I'd suggest saving your spot frequently. Saving then immediately loading typically fixes mallet issues. Still find it to be a bit difficult? Request more features in the comments! I'm willing to accept feedback for more features for this mode. Updates: Fixed the cloud list of records so it no longer includes records from the original version.
