Press the green flag to begin. Castles may keep people out or invite them in. The final castle is meditative. Let your imagination take you on a journey.
NOTES A new picture book by an Israeli illustrator/author caught my attention. I learned of it from this article: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/04/books/picture-books-miyakoshi-akiko-i-dream-of-a-journey.html Then I thought about castle nomenclature. While exploring I watched a David Macauley video about building books: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9SZWYS843I I also watched how to draw a sandcastle. This project has morphed several times. I chose to rearrange and cut parts as the focus changed to a meditative experience. The last background was created to look like a torn paper collage. I'm glad I put forth the effort to make it. I started this project last week. Today I added the list. The challenge that slowed me down was figuring out how to save choices from the list for the speaking part while deleting them from the list before the next choice is made so that there is not duplication.
