New and improved version! (Highly recommended) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/107793179/ Click the green flag to start. After the count-down, the game will take a couple additional seconds to load. But after that, press "S" or the down arrow and your snake will go off in a random direction starting from the center. control your snake with the left and right arrows or "A" and "D". Go into a portal to increase your score and length. Press "M" to toggle music or restart it when it's over. Your score will be displayed in the top-right corner until you restart the game with "S" or the down arrow. Good luck! Tips: Pay attention to the direction you are facing, because when you exit a portal, you come out the direction that you went into the first one. Make sure that the rest of your body is out of the way before you turn. And before you go through a portal, check to make sure the other one is not blocked by an edge or yourself. Remember that this is difficult and try not to rage. Enjoy!
I want to thank @PullJosh for making his challenges. This game is made for his fourth challenge which was a mini or retro game. I made the retro game Snake, but instead of eating fruits, you go through portals to increase your score and lengthen the snake. Music is "Bombs For Throwing at You" from Portal. Thanks to Valve for the Portal concept and Atari (I think) for the Snake concept. Other than that, all art and coding by me using Scratch vector graphics. Leave any problems, glitches, or suggestions you have in the comments below and thanks for playing. Thank you to @GreenIeaf for curating this project! And thank you to all of you who are commenting, loving and favoriting! Trying to reply to all comments, but sorry if I don't get to all of them! 1/13/15 160 What the community is loving!?
