IMPORTANT NOTE: This game is local 2 player only. There is no AI in the games. Control Player 1 with the arrow keys. Control Player 2 with WASD. (Player 1 and Player 2 look different, but have no gameplay differences.) --Character Selection-- Select a character by hovering your marker over it, and press Space to start the battle! --Basics of how to play-- Move around with either the left/right arrow keys or A/D. Jump with the up arrow or W (There is no mid-air jumping.). Press the down arrow key or S to attack! Each character has a unique attack when standing still or moving left/right, as well a variant on both when in midair. The Green Bar at the top represents your health bar, and will reduce as you take damage, and will change colour the further it goes down. Your starting health is 40. Under your character portrait is the cooldown bar. It fills up after doing a move, and if there's any red left in it, you cannot do a move until it's all gone. The battle ends when someone's health reaches 0. To play again, click the flag again (twice to avoid the bug mentioned at the start).
05/02/2023: So uh, this game kinda sucks. Like this is terrible. However if anyone stumbles upon this game again for whatever reason, just know i've got a completely remade version cooking up. My own motivation's been up and down but it should hopefully be done soonish. Fun fact, I'm garbage at fighting games, so I made my own easy to play one. I'll probably update this in the future, adding more characters to play as. All coding and spritework is done by me. However the music is taken from these video games: Character Select - Character Select - Smash 64 Nature Stage - Grass Land 2 - Kirby's Dream Land 2 Arena Stage - Cave In The Sky - Kirby Triple Deluxe Bridge Stage - Angel Island Zone Act 2 - Sonic Suggest ideas in the comments for new characters and stages! Also if you want to remix anything, there will be text saying what each bit of code does for easier remixing! :) Fun Fact: Kirby's Victory them from Kirby Squeak Squad was also intended to play when someone won, but was scrapped due to bugs.
