Creates a multi-level repeating pattern of any regular convex polygon ————————————————————————— > Sides: changes the number of sides on your shape > Levels: controls the number of reduced shape layers drawn > SidesDivisor: controls how much each sequential layer reduces in size, in steps of 25 (e.g. SidesDivisor: 0 —> not reduction in size, SidesDivisor: 25 —> sides are 1/2 as big; SidesDivisor: 50 —> sides are 1/3 as big, etc) > Turn on Turbo Mode for instantaneous results, or keep it switched off for a slow but satisfying drawing experience
An extension to the Simple Shape Maker project, the idea here was to have a bit of fun with repeating patterns. An introduction to recursion as part of lockdown 2020. Setting [Sides: 3, Levels: 7, Sides Divisor: 25] will give you a nice Sierpinski triangle. Enjoy!
