Hello hello! We’re having a second session of Scratch Artist's Bootcamp, which will be hosted in October 2020! However, there are many changes so please read on. First of all, you can now apply to be a leader! Leader applications will be released in a few hours or a day, so keep an eye out for them. I’ll also be discussing more things with the leaders in a forum or studio as well this session :) Leaders will be chosen based on: Application (how appealing it is, theme etc) Answers (answers to questions, self explanatory) Diversity (this is hard to explain,, by this I mean that leaders should have different art styles and specialities so each leader can help the campers with a particular thing) Next up, there’ll be a project for camper signups which I will release after leaders have been chosen. I’ll notify anyone who wants to be notified for either leader applications or camper signups, just comment! In this session, the leaders, including me, are going to make videos as well! If you want to apply for being a leader, and don’t have any way you can make videos, it’s perfectly fine :) The activities will also be more interactive, since I kinda thought that would be helpful,, Now I promise there will be more activity in the camp :p I’ll be doing more activity checks and stuff. We will still have an art competition, but it will be announced around the 15th of October. In this session of camp, we’ll also be going over hardware, and supplies, as I felt that was missing last session. We’ll be trying to be more organized this session. Now, before we end with this, a final announcement : There will be sub-cabins inside of cabins based on your art style/what you draw. You can always draw anything else and get points but this is so you can learn more. There will be more leaders inside of the sub-cabins, so 1 leader for each sub-cabin. The sub-cabins will be : Cartoony Humans Realistic humans Not very detailed humans? Animals Backgrounds Objects Furries The sub-cabins will be same for both traditional and digital. Other than that, everything will be the same :) Make sure to sign up or apply as a leader! last session's assignments can be found here: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/26982663/
