Getting Unstuck Day 6: Create a project that uses the random block. Since the first day of Getting Unstuck, I have absolutely loved the box used by @karenb in "The Box." For today's project, I wanted to revisit my own Day 1 project, and see if I could make my butterflies fly out of a box. The movement, timing and type of the butterflies in the Day 1 project already involved a lot of random blocks. Today, I experimented with the different layers needed to create this animation - ground, front of box, flaps, back of box and the butterflies. The butterflies change layers as they moved, which made it tricky. I ended up drawing a "cheat" layer to help create the effect. It needs to be polished up, but it works (sort of) and was a great learning experience!
