Tell the robot something, and the robot will tell you if they like or dislike it. The things the robot likes and dislikes follow a pattern. Try to figure out what the pattern is! When you think you know the answer, test your theory by typing in a few things you believe the robot will like or dislike. And if you really want to verify, click "See Inside" above these instructions :)
I've always loved word riddle puzzles like this. When the robot receives some new thing, it determines whether it likes or dislikes it, and then tells you — and it's up to you to figure out the rule. (If you figure it out, I'd love to hear from you in the comments, although please don't give away the puzzle to people who haven't tried it before!) There are two things I like best about this project: one is the puzzle itself (which at its core is not my own creation, a friend told this puzzle to me years ago and I don't know who came up with the original puzzle itself). The other is the animation of the robot — I was looking for a way to make the "yes"/"no" responses a little more engaging, so I added a little nod and head shake to each.
