Write something on the prompt and see how the rhythm changes accordingly.
#GettingUnstuck Day 7 This has been another difficult one, in part because asking the user is something I rarely do. After much thinking I got to the conclusion that I didn't felt like programming a conversation-like thing. Cheking out the studio, I found this lovely project https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/411520923/ by @CyberParra, which uses user input for abstract artwork generation, in a way that feels random. I decided to do something of the sort but with music. After several explorations with a sequencer-like tool, I remembered this weird but cool thing by Steve Reich, Music for Pieces of Wood https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gy2kyRrXm2g (I recently found that visualization, similar to what I was tinkering with). This led to a percussion-only sequence (the bass was added later to give a feeling of when the sequence starts). If I'd had more time, I would've added a visual cue whenever each square is played... but enough scratching for today... :D
