“ToastJuice, what does this picture have to do with homophobia?” ggrr, let me explain. Ok, so, I was invited to/came across a studio that supports LGBTQ+. It was really nice. <33 On one side, there were people supporting one another, standing up for each other and just hanging out with one another. But, on the other side, there were people having to protect one another, fend off homophobes and have to ‘protect’ themselves. So, I said this in the studio: “I am scrolling through the comments and it’s really sad how many people have decided to come and hate on this studio. I get that some people might not approve, but why do you think you should have the audacity to start hating on everyone? I just don’t understand, it destroys the point of this studio. It’s a place to chill and support, not try and fend off hate.. If you do not support, just leave peacefully and continue your day. :> <333” And I am right. Everyone has the right to voice their opinions, and, even if you’re homophobic, that applies to you as well. But, if you think your words will hurt and offend tonnes of people, just move on and don’t say it. I will say, I am disgusted. People using Jesus and the Bible to back up their points. No. If you are a proud member of the LQBTQ+ community and you find yourself in an argument with someone, and, their main points involve the sole base that that The Bible said being gay is wrong, the argument isn’t worth your time. (And it didn’t but ok) I don’t think any argument is worth anyone’s time. If you see someone homophobic, just leave them alone. You won’t be able to change their mind and that’s the sad reality. I wish we could all live in a world where everyone was happy, but unfortunately we still have to wait for that. So. For now. Hello audience.
