Click the green flag, then wait for onscreen directions. You will be using the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 keys to move the Scratch block icon and identify the correct language in which it is announced. Play stops when you have reached a score of 10. New: Additional block costumes to make 13 in all; randomized language and block choice; score feature.
Getting Unstuck 2020 Day 8: Create a project that uses a variable to decide when something happens. +++ When I created this project for Day 2, I wrote "This project feels like a demo, though, since in an ideal world a long list of block names (with corresponding icons) would be randomly translated and matched with the correct language name for the cheer." Now that our prompt is to include variables, it seems like the perfect opportunity to make those enhancements! In addition, I wanted to include an idea from @mrreuland in his comment on that original project: "I really want a variable keeping track of how well I'm doing."
