Sun Dragon Backstory: Sunstar wasn’t always a Sun Dragon. He was once a Sea Dragon. And he wasn’t always named Sunstar, his original name was Wavemark. In his realm, Sea Dragons believed that the Sun Dragons were selfish and vain. Wavemark thought otherwise. He knew the beliefs of his people were not true. How, you might ask, well because, Wavemark was friends with a Sun Dragon. Shinelight Shinelight loved her powers! She could make anyone happy! So whenever Wavemark was having a bad day. She would turn his frown upside down! Wavemark is Shinelight's best friend. She'll never forget the day they met. Wavemark wandered up to the hills Shinelight was playing in, Shinelight could tell he was gloomy. When she got close enough, she used her powers to make Wavemark happier. Mysteriously gleeful all of the sudden, Wavemark asked "How did you do that?" "Do what" "Make me happy" Shinelight was surprised. People usually didn't notice her using her powers on them. She could tell Wavemark was different, more alert. More aware. One day, Wavemark was tired of his people badmouthing the Sun Dragons. He decided to see if he could... possibly... become a Sun Dragon? He knew his idea was crazy, but he had to try! He made his way to Brightsville, and talked to the village leaders. They were skeptical of the boy, at first, but they grew very fond of him. They decided to transform him into a Sun Dragon and therefore, they granted him the name: Sunstar
