!! DISCLAIMER- This is only my thoughts and opinions solely, this was written in a bit messy way so please don't yell at me if it is !! Homophobia and Transphobia is the prejudice and dislike of transgender and homosexual people. No matter the way you say it. Nicely or being aggressive, it's still trans/homophobia. Okay, look- religion is something. But please don't use it for an excuse. If you support your LGBTQ+ friends, and your religion isn't supportive, props to you! But if you use it as an excuse, then please don't. You can choose to respect others, and still have your beliefs, just don't tell that being gay is a sin or whatever. I'm not trying to attack any religion. Every religion is cool and rad in their own way. People can be from religions that don't support LGBTQ+ people, and be one of them or support them greatly. Which I appreciate. And- being homosexual/transgender isn't. a. choice. It's built into our genetics, we can't stop that. Just-- don't say that you're not a homophobe/transphobe when you're attacking others and hurting others with *your* belief on homosexuality/transgender people. Also-- straight pride!? Heterosexual people get 11 months to be themselves, can't we get 1 month to be ourselves? You can attack me all you want, I won't respond. I'm just stating my thoughts in a messy way. Also- don't insult people in the comments?? That's not nice. Besides, I have every right to report a transphobic/homophobic comment, since it is going against the Scratch Community guidelines. I'm Midnight, and thanks for coming to my Ted Talk :) ( You are valid and loved and have every right to live <3 ) Also- thanks to my straight friends, and my LGBTQ+ friends who put up with my gay and nonbinary butt every day ------------------------- Song - Jessie Paege - Not a Phase ft. Lucy & La Mer Art - Me ---------------------------- ily guys (friend way) for all the support <3
