I was bored, and I've been playing SSBU so I decided to make a little Challengers Approach thing for my new main, Raven! She has wings they are under her cape oof. Hopefully there are no typos, and most of this is NON CANNON ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Raven grew up with her mother and father in the forests deep in the rainforest. Shadowchaser, her father, was a highly esteemed general in Queen Glory's army, and her mother, Starseer, worked as an advisor to the queen. After a time, Shadowchaser was killed in a battle against the forces of Blister. Because of her mother's duty to the queen, Raven was often left alone. Despite this, she found was to occupy herself. She loved to fly under the canopies of the trees and explore the forest. She felt a deep connection to the earth, and soon began to delve into the age old question: how do Animi receive their powers? Of course they were born with them, but they had to come from somewhere. Raven eventually came to the conclusion that all Animi have a special connection to one of the 6 elements: Fire, water, earth, air, light, and dark. That would make sense, seeing and most recorded Animi were either seawing, nightwings, or icewings, connecting to water, dark, and light respectively. Raven figured that if she could somehow harness elemental magic, she would be granted powers similar to Animus dragons, leading to the forging of the Runestones. 6 stones, all embedded within them the elemental powers. Finally, Raven had solved the mystery. But something was missing.. What caused the Animus dragons to go crazy after using their powers too often? Raven decided that there was a 7th element, soul. However, this element was in everyone, even non-Animi dragons. She deduced that after an Animus used their powers, it slowly drained the soul energy, leading way to corruption. While making the Rune of the Soul, Raven was able to change it so that it did not require her own soul energy to work. It however, required a blood in order to work. Raven almost never uses that rune, and to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands, she placed an enchantment over them so that they were unable to work unless the user knew the 'code' to unlock their powers. Without the code, they are ordinary stones. Not many dragons know about the Runestones, but rumors spread, of course. Many have stolen the Runestones in hopes of achieving their powers, but were unable due to the protection enchantment later dubbed 'The Raven's Song.'
