Below is a list of me apologizing for the mediocre quality of this project. This is me apologizing for apologizing. That was me apologizing for apologizing for apologizing. OMG IT'S AN INFINITE CYCLE :O LMAOOOOO -AHHHH WHY IS IT SO QUIET? Sorry about that! It's late so I was feeling awkward and mumbling, not gonna lie. Plus computer microphones are rude to me. You may have to turn up your volume a lot to hear me. -By the way when I said let me know if you need me to voice act for you, that was NOT specifically to @Pokemon44, it was just if anyone is watching. I was not trying to plug myself either, I was just rambling. Sorry about that! Everything should play on its own. If you want to skip my rambling and get straight to my attempt at the challenge, press s. Voice Acting Challenge by @pokemon44 Try this challenge out yourself if you like! (Just be sure to give me credit for the idea). If you try out this challenge, it is preferred that you remix this, delete my recordings, and add your own so that I am more likely to see it! The basis of this challenge is to come up with a list of fictional characters that are in your voice range (so for me, I picked a ton of female characters of all ages and young male characters) and either put the names of the characters into a hat or a random name picker. Allow chance to pick at least 5 characters for you. It is recommended that you pick only characters with either no canon voice or characters that you have not heard the canon voice of for your list so that you are not tempted to imitate the canon voice. If you do choose a character with a canon voice, try to come up with your own version for it. It is also recommended that you choose a few characters that are in your comfort zone and a few characters that are not in your comfort zone to give yourself more of a challenge. With the characters that were picked at random from your list, find around 3 quotes from the character and record the lines (or you can do less if one of the quotes is very long). Try to create a voice that matches the character without imitating someone else's portrayal and try to give the best line delivery possible. This exercise will help any voice actor learn to step out of their comfort zone, explore new ways to change their voice, and learn to voice new personality types. If you for some reason can't find quotes for a character, either skip that character or improvise by making your own quotes that you think the character would say.
