Ok, so even though I wanted the special part to be a surprise (no pun intended) I'm going to explain to you a bit about it to prevent arguments, BUT I would like anyone whose reading thins BEFORE watching it to stop reading NOW and anyone whose reading this after watching this to keep reading, so anyway here's some background on that other pony (YES STOP READING NOW IF YOU HAVN'T WACHED IT). Her name is Surprise, yes now you know why I said "no pun intended" so anyway, she's not an OC, she was from the old MLP, no not the girly one the one from the 60s, that was actually really... decent. Anyway, so as we know Lauren Faust created G4 MLP, well so of what I know, she was a big fan of G1 and had watched as a kid and so when Hasbro asked her to create G4 she was really exited and wanted to bring her 6 favorite characters from G1 back as the main characters, Twilight Velvet, Firefly, Posy, Applejack, Sparkler and Surprise but Hasbro had lost copyright for all of those characters except one (Applejack of course) so Lauren Faust brought back Applejack and created some new characters, basically what she did was recolor the originals, change there hairstyles a tiny bit, mix them with some G3 characters and then take a way Surprise's G4 self's (Pinkie's) wings and give theme to Posy's G4 self (Fluttershy). And so that's pretty much all I know besides that Spike was a G1 character too and that Surprise, Twilight Velvet and MAYBE Sparkler too where brought back later in season 1/early season 2, mostly due to fan support!
