Clayton Notes: In 1846 my paternal great-great-great-great-great grandfather and his 11-13 wives left England to come to Utah. It took them 17 months to make the trip. Once they arrived in California, the trekked to Utah, and from there were sent to Idaho, where I was born (I lived there, until I moved in 2016). In 1847, my maternal great-great-great-great-grandparents were living Nauvoo, Illinois to come to Utah. It took them around 3-4ish months. They too were sent to Idaho. Anyways, today marks the day the first pioneers made it to Utah. Happy Pioneer Day!
