My third fighter for this testing series. WARNING: Contains Hollow Knight plot spoilers, including certain items and abilities that can be obtained later game. You've been warned. This is my most innovative of the three characters I've made. It has a Soul gimmick, which can be used up and regained with dealing damage and using the Side Tilt. Also, the Down Aerial has a pogo effect, where you bounce off the target. The only shortcoming is that you can hardly tell when you have Final Smash. /// Character Creator tutorial for you to make your own Smash Bros. Fighter: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/413748939 //// Default Controls: W: Jump / Up A: Left D: Right S: Crouch / Down Q: Special / Final Smash E: Jab, Tilts, and Aerials Arrows: Smash Attacks 1: Shield 2: Grab 3: Taunt C: Control Menu Y+R+6: Toggle Debug Mode /// To Do List: -Hurt Getup Attack? (Probably if I add an attacking enemy) -Costumes??? (Probably not) Below here gets a bit rant-y. You've been warned. I've tried numerous times to make a Smash Bros. Engine in Scratch, being inspired by SSF2 and Rivals of Aether, but barely ever managed to push myself past art. I've made attempts at making models for Smash Bros. characters using various attacks and other animations, but I'm finally satisfied with this one. This, by far, has the best coding (compared to almost none), art (I used to animate in Bitmap, which is basically worse than Vector in every way, and I just wasn't good at animating), and effort than any of my previous attempts. I'm very satisfied, for now.
Team Cherry for the character. Sora, Ltd. for the game and Sandbag.
