The goal is to figure out which 4 differently colored pegs are behind the black box at the top. You place pegs by clicking on the color you want to at the bottom and clicking on the hole you want to place it in. Once you have filled all of the first 4 click the Check box. Then the 4 holes on the right will tell you how many you got right. Each red peg means you have one of the colors in the right spot. A white peg means you have one of the colors in the wrong spot. Each hole means one of the pegs is not in the secret code. The code at the top has 4 of the 8 colors and no repeats. The bottom left area is your notes. If you click the circle with a line through it and click one of the colors it will become darker. You can use that tool if you have eliminated a color. You can always undo it if you want to. You can also put colors in the holes in the bottom left if it helps you. Good luck!
