IMPORTANT: THE STORY ITSELF IS IN THE NOTES AND CREDITS. PLEASE DO CLICK THE GREEN FLAG THOUGH SO I CAN TALLY HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE READ THIS. Hello guys! I thought I would share my personal story about COVID-19, and yes, all of my real-life friends are going to facepalm as they read this, and you will see why in a minute.
It all started back on December morning. I checked my phone, as usual, for the news. That's when I saw it. "New Chinese Coronavirus Infected 200 People." I didn't think much then, but I decided to keep tabs on it. When I checked the new statistics the next week, I nearly fainted. The number of people infected was multiplied by fifteen compared to what it had been the week before. Fifteen. That's when I freaked out. I was pretty much hyperventilating at school. My friend, @newtzarellia123 told me there was NOTHING to worry about. It didn't help, and I was panicking to the point where teachers were telling me there was nothing to worry about. I don't even think they knew it existed until I told them. So, from that day on, I checked the statistics daily. I watched the numbers rise in China, and I watched it slowly spread to other countries. I slowly watched China go in to chaos, and eventually, lockdown, and I saw other countries shutting down. But not the United states. We started out with few cases. At this point, no one really cared. This was around late Januarary. A month later, The diamond princess cruise ship began to spark awareness. By then, everyone was freaking out about the coronavirus. They started hoarding, but at this point, I was more chilled out than many of my friends were. I began to calm them down, until the start of March. Many things changed, and New York blossomed into a living petri dish cultivating COVID-19. Then, my friends and I panicked together. We knew that any day, we could stop showing up to school. And we were right. The next week, on a fateful Thursday, our school sent us home with our textbooks and workbooks "Just in case." Everyone knew deep down, we weren't coming back. And that ladies and gentlemen, is my story about why I need to be respected as a medical genius.
