hello, this is a short message. TL; DR: don't criticize others for having an opinion different than you. It's unhealthy to believe you are right and everyone else who disagrees with you is wrong. on scratch, there is this controversial movement here. However, I don't want to be chastised again, so let's give it a pseudonym. Let's call it "Marik Movement," (MM) where ppl think Marik Ishtar is the best fictional character ever made. Person A is a proponent of this, whereas person B is an opponent of it. There is a studio about MM, which supports it. In the desc, it says, "you are free to voice your opinion as long as you are respectful to others and not rude." B voices her opinion of why Marik isn't the best, then A bashes her for her opinion, calls her a liar, dumb, stupid, idiot, ignorant, problematic, and racist. B tries to explain her opinion in a civil manner, but A threatens to report her bc her opinion is different. Now, let's move onto scenario 2. Person B says, "Marik sucks!" then a bunch of person A's tell her that she is wrong. Then, person B calls A stupid. A bunch of A's friends comment on B's profile saying, "YOU ARE A DUMB PERSON!!! I REPORTED YOU!!" and thus person B is banned from scratch. what's flawed in these scenarios? it's that nobody can respect the other's opinions. ok, i'm aware this is super cliche, but people have feelings. Don't bash on people for having an opinion different than you. and dont be a hypocrite. It's up to you whether you will be kind or not. Just know I was subject to harassment for having a different opinion, and I was very upset about it.
