As you can see, I removed the shading as it felt unnecessary for what is meant to be a simple sprite, and I wanted to keep the more iconic look; however, I kept the more comfortable position. I also made the pupils smaller as they looked too big to me. I think that my design looks much closer to the original, which in my opinion is a good thing (the original project's redesign is also brilliant, though!)
