Yay! This is my OC, Raincrystal. (My other OC is Hollyglow. Yes, there are some others, but they don't quite... exist yet...) Basically, she ends up dying of a disease just as her mate comes back with the cure-and just after having just one of four kits-none of the others are born before she dies. Okay, here's the complete story. You can skip it if you want to. No obligation to read this. Anyway: a small asteroid crashed into the forest, leaving a huge crater. Raincrystal was on a patrol. She'd just gotten her warrior name, and she was still full of energy. She bounded on ahead-and fell into the crater. It wasn't deep enough to inflict any injuries. Lakeflame, the tom she was in love with, looked over the edge and asked if she was okay. "Raincrystal! You alright?" She coughed and nodded. She was limping a bit when she got out, so Lakeflame brought her back to camp. The next day, he asked her to be his mate. Then they were expecting kits, soon after. The medicine cat had received a dream. She'd seen cats in pain, and so much death and tragedy. Raincrystal had something with symptoms similar to greencough, but worse and with other effects. A queen and her kits were also suffering. A quest was sent to find the cure, including Lakeflame. The clan was in danger of dying out-and yet Raincrystal still clung to life. She was also having her kits early the day the quest returned. But as she was licking her first kits head, as Lakeflame burst into camp, she told her friend that she gave her her blessing to be with Lakeflame-then she died. TA DA! The end.
