Move your cursor to move the rectangle at the bottom Your goal is to catch as many walruses as you can and try to not let walruses fall on to the stampede of walruses at the bottom Walrus Haulout Summary: Walruses spend most of their time on sea ice. These ocean mammals migrate with moving ice floes and need ice for rest between dives for food. Because of humans affecting the climate, ice melts, and walruses can’t rest where they used to rest. In addition, walruses have to swim farther distances to shore, and that makes them fatigued to catch their food. Plus, this makes walruses easily scared, which causes large stampedes in which they trample one another and the walruses on the bottom- especially calves- get crushed to death. Also, some walruses decide to climb tall cliffs in order to not get crushed to death, but when walruses start to hunt, they have to fall from heights and also reach their horrible deaths.
thank you WWF for making me aware of walrus haulouts
