I didn't finish my novel, but here are some stats: 12 chapters in total. 9 chapters written this month. 67 pages in total. Over 16,000 words written in total. Over 14,000 words written this month. 31 days spent writing. 1 new character added. 96% of my goal reached. My last sentence in my novel so far: “There has to be a way out,” protested Wiggs. “We’ve made it out of tough situations before!” I didn't finish, but despite that I've got no brain, I'm proud of what I've done. Skiv, Myan, Colsia, Thebba, Wiggs, Arran, even Kryst, Rolan, and Kavyn (Even Sar!) are now so much closer to me. I feel accomplished, and you should too (even if you wrote only one word!). You at least started something, and even if it's not your final draft at all, it counts. Be proud of your work, and continue writing, even if it's hard. I've learned about what redwood trees feel like, how to properly write dual wielding swords, the beauty of real natural bridges, and most lethal places to stab someone. I've also learned not to spend ages on the forums xD Keep on writing, and remember, there is no war in Ba Sing Se. (yeah this was taken directly from my nanowrimo post xD)
