────── ❁ ────── ↠ ❝ how to make your own stickers ▹ ❁ ˎˊ- ❝ 08 . 04 . 2020 ❞ ε ї з — — — — ll ↠ for this project, you'll need... ˚ ❁ ⋆。˚ ✀-- printer paper ✀-- pencil & eraser (opt.) ✀-- pen/ marker for outlining ✀-- coloring tools (color pencils, watercolor, etc.) ✀-- scissors ✀-- wax/ parchment paper ✀-- tape (the wider/thicker the better) ll ↠ step one: line art ˚ ❁ ⋆。˚ ➷ on your printer paper, create line art for your sticker designs, and use marker/pen to outline them. you can also just print out designs, but it's much more fun to create them yourself! ll ↠ step two: adding color ˚ ❁ ⋆。˚ ➷ color in your designs! you can use just about any tool your heart desires, as long as it sits flat on the paper. i recommend using markers, color pencils, or even watercolor if you're feeling spunky c:< ll ↠ step three: cut out your designs ˚ ❁ ⋆。˚ ➷ this one's pretty self-explanatory. feel free to cut precisely around the designs, or leave a cute white border! ll ↠ step four: tape time˚ ❁ ⋆。˚ ➷ on a sheet of wax paper, put down a layer of tape, making sure there are no gaps in between the tape. place the cutout designs on top of this layer. then, put another layer of tape over the designs. make sure to really seal the designs between the layers of tape, making sure there are no gaps or bubbles. by now, there should be no exposed printer paper on the stickers. ll ↠ step five: cutting out your stickers˚ ❁ ⋆。˚ ➷ cut out your stickers! make sure to leave a nice thick layer of tape/wax paper surrounding your designs. this leaves you with your own homemade stickers! they work surprisingly well, on all surfaces store-bought stickers would. i made a set for my water bottle eight months ago, and not a single one has been damaged. — — — — ll ↠ credits ˚ ❁ ⋆。˚ ▹ original idea & tutorial - JENerationDIY on youtube ▹ coding - @blossominqq (me!) ▹ sticker art/designs - @blossominqq (me!) ▹ music - floreey's remix - put your head on my shoulder ────── ❁ ──────
