the animation is from roughly.... 6 months ago? the style is aNICiENt. and i hate it. but whatever. as you can see, i've got some stuff left to do- the rest of the lineart and then backdrops, which shouldn't be bad cause i suck at backdrops. so it'll be fairly simple. the plane animation is my worry because it's very ambitious, but whatever. --- THe STORY: it's from my little pet project, Ankh, this story about a medic and a secret police officer in the third world war. this is basically some bits and pieces about how the medic, Ross, defected from the Leftists to the Conservatives and met the main protagonist, Volodimir. He accidentally joins with the Ankh Police division not knowing the leftists targeted their medics. --- EDIT: story has been changed. this scene is still relevant. Ross has been merged with an Elliot Ross, who fell in love with Volodimir in Yekaterinburg while Volodimir worked for a gang. Elliot joins the army after hearing Volodimir had been drafted into the Russian Federation's army; however, Elliot's only choice was to join the army in his country of residence, West Germany, which is opposing Russia in the war. After arriving on the American mainland he defects, joining the medical squad under the Volk Yedinitsa, a subdivision of the ANKH military police. By chance, they are deployed to the same area as Volodimir's division. When Elliot stumbles upon Volodimir lying severly wounded in a battlefield, he saves him. --- design note: On the Ankh officer's uniforms there's an armband with an Ankh. I've since removed that detail. I originally had it because I wanted to have a little reference to the original Red Armband Squad (If You Know What I Mean) due to the story literally being a way to make you root for good guys who really aren't that good (it's war theory). but i decided i don't want to portray them as genocidal racists because they're not. --- CREDITS: MAP: @tickinq. still amazed you let me join two years ago or whatever it was on auzziegal. i am no talent haha.
