Name: Dazel Age: 15 Gender: Female Race: Hylian Status: Champion Home: Forest Park Stable Likes: Horses, Dogs, Riding, and Hiking Dislikes: Kale, Rudness, Loud Noise, and The Cold Dazel was born before Link awoke from the Shrine of Resurection. She was born and lived in Akkala for most of her young childhood. When Link battled Dark Beast Ganon, Dazel was 9 and saw it all, for she was visiting her friend Fiona at the Wetland Stable. Slowly, He and Princess Zelda started to rebuild Hyrule. Less than a year passed, and Dazel's Dad asked Zelda for permission for him and his Family to move closer to the castle as this was where the ancestors of him had the family stable 100 years ago. Princess Zelda approved, and ever since Dazel has lived at the old Hyrule Forest Park. After a few years, Castle Town and Greater Hyrule was restored to its former glory. Fast forward to the present day, and Hyrule is still going strong. A lot of the older and smaller settlements around Hyrule have become small homes for travelers. Along with that, many more Stables and larger settlements have been created. Even though many parts of Hyrule are flourishing, Dazel's Stable hasn't been doing too well. Many Travelers go to the Castle Town as an inn. Retrieving horses is a free business, and most Travelers already have their horses registered. For this reason Dazel has taken upon another job at Castle Town, working at the Market. Dazel is a young girl at the age of 15, and the stable life is all she's known and loved. With her free time she takes long walks around Hyrule Forest Park, and rides her horse Anaste to neighboring Akkala, Lanyaru, and Hyrule Field. She is profecient in swordsplay, for her father taught her at a young age, and wields the Silver Edge and Nightstar Shield, that her brother gave her for her 5th birthday. She also plays with her dog Shayle when she comes home from the market. Dazel is incharge of caring for the cuccos at the stable, and has further trained them to attack anything that provokes them with tiny spears she crafted. She plays a pan flute, and it calls her horse. The melody she plays is one that has been passed down since the Era of Time, known as Epona's Song. Dazels name is derived from Princess Zelda. It is an anagram for her name, for Dazel's family has always had close ties to the royal family and hero, ever since the Hero of Time tens of thousands of years ago. She is related by blood to Malon from Lon Lon Ranch, resulting in her auburn hair and families connection with the Stable and Royal Family. As for Dazel's physical appearance, she is 5'7 and has long auburn hair with gold highlights. She has heterochromia with one eye green and the other blue. Contrary to the normal stable appearance, she wears her bandana facing forward and with bright colors. She usually keeps her long hair in 2 plaits, but occasionally leaves it out. Just recently, Princess Zelda and Link visited Dazel's stable. She explained that Hyrule has been prosperous for a while now, and that she feels it necessary to have a plan if the Calmity ever shows itself again. Zelda continued to tell Dazel how she is going to appoint 6 new champions, like they did 100 years ago, to fight and be warriors if another threat surfaces. She continued to say that the Champions will not have as extreme duties of those in the past, but if a threat with Ganon does arise, they will be in charge with evacuating the citizens to safety, and to fight against him until the Hero and Princess arrive. The Champions would also be in charge of training those of each race who aspire to be a warrior, such as a champion-in-training. The reason why Zelda chose Dazel is because she saw the calamity, and knew what it was. Dazel's family has always had affiliations with the royal family, and was kind and gentle, yet strong, which is displayed in her swordsmanship. Zelda had no doubt that Dazel would be able to do the task at hand. The blue bandana with the Triforce on it represents Dazel's affiliation with the royal family, and is her champion garb. Dazel's champion ability is she can can communicate with horses, as her ancestor, Malon did. She can also summon her cucco army if in danger, lead by the Cucco General, Riko -This is just my story that came to me for my champion.
