One one hard I'm pleased they were considered good enough to be included on such sites, on the other I am a bit miffed that they are there and all my work for free is being taken advantage of by these sites for their own gain. The thing about Scratcharia & paper minecraft and a number of other games I have created is that they are ports of existing games that I do not own copyright to use the original assets. I am free enough to do so on Scratch due to the education license that we enjoy here, but I could not make money from these particular games as that would then get me into trouble no doubt! . So it is especially annoying that someone else feels able to do so!!! I would be more upset if my own original games got shared (like snail & not quite ball physics, etc) as these are my own intellectual property and I can recreate these outside of scratch and sell them if I wanted. What I am pleased about is that Scratch might get more attention in the outside world if my games make it to these sites… But I wonder whether the Scratch Player itself could do with a link on the banner that takes you to the original project page? That way people who stumble across it and are interested could get to see Scratch too…
