(SHIFT click the green flag to turn on turbo mode) run in turbo mode for a better result. this is my favorite 3d project I've ever made! this simulates ray-marching, using a method that I used in my one line challenge entry, only not in one line, and it also simulates the shadows according to the position of the spheres. it also has texture. the ambient light slider changes the strength of the white light. the light distance slider changes ho far the source of light is from the camera, so a higher light distance means you can see less far. ray marching, is an image-based volume rendering technique. It computes 2D images from 3D volumetric data sets. it has a really crazy effect in forkphorus: https://forkphorus.github.io/#416397132
