Hey there Scratch. I'm making this project to show my opinion, so if you don't agree with it, please try to be respectful. I think that Scratch isn't doing so well right now. Not because of the people, but because of the projects, and this isn't just about platformers. I think that currently, people just aren't putting work into their projects. People are using code from others without credit, taking graphics off of other projects and off of Google. Scratchers are just generally not putting effort into their projects. That's why I encourage you to make every single project your best. Don't share a project unless you are truly happy with it. Don't make projects to get popular, but do it because you like it. And if you only like the fame part of Scratch, then maybe put your work on a different platform. It's "Imagine, program, share", not "Copy, take, receive" - Allevia
