Thank you, Scratch Team. Thank you, Scratch community. Thank you to all of the friends I've made here in the last five years. On August 14, 2015, I was a happy 10 year old, equally nerdy and strange as I am now (probably more so xD). It's very weird to think about, but I have spent a 3rd of my life on Scratch. That's hard to believe, right? No, it's true. Divide 15 by 3! That's how many years I've been on Scratch. Scratch has been the concrete of a lot of my childhood, something I could fall back on when I was stressed. Something I could log onto on bad days and just code, be creative, talk to the amazing people I've met here. I've always been a creative person, and being able to talk to others who are the same way is truly a gift. In real life, I've met so many people who just don't like the same things I do. Obviously, that makes it hard to fit in. But Scratch... it's a CODING WEBSITE. It's pretty much a paradise for geeks, for actually interesting people. It's also a fun, safe place for kids, which I am very grateful for. I know everyone says it, but I really am happy when people leave nice comments on my profile or projects. It makes me feel really warm and fuzzy to know that I've made even one person happy or entertained from the (not particularly amazing) things I've done here. Thank you for five years. I plan to be here for many more. <3 Love, Midnight. (also the <3 thing looks like an ice cream cone, just saying)
