Hi! So, this is our first Ninjago fanfic, so we hope you like it! ......................A New Kind of Villain................................ Snow slowly began to fall in the Never-Realm. As the sun rose, Akita could feel someone shaking her, telling her to wake up. "Kataru, go back to sleep," she said, still half asleep. She could hear her brother laughing. "Come on, Akita! Everyone else is already up!" Kataru told her. "Fine, fine. I'll meet you outside in a few minutes." Once Kataru was gone, Akita quickly dressed, then headed outside. "Finally! Come on, try and keep up!" Her brother transforming into a bear, then running off. Akita smiled. She transformed into her wolf form, then easily caught up with Kataru. A while later, they stopped besides a large, frozen lake. Ever since the Ice Emporer had been defeated, the duo had come here almost every day, when they weren't needed in the village. Suddenly, Akita found herself thinking about Lloyd and the other ninja. Did they make it back to Ninjago? Was there any hope of them ever returning? "Akita?" A voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "You were thinking about those ninja, weren't you," Kataru grinned. Akita nodded. Suddenly, the ground shook beneath their feet. "What was that?" Akita asked. "I have no idea. We'd better head back though," her brother said, and the two raced back to the village. As they neared their home, the ground rumbled again, this time worse. "Kataru! Akita! Come quick!" The Village Leader beckoned. They followed him into the centre of the village, where everyone else was waiting. "What is going on?" Akita asked in confusion as the ground shuddered again. "Its the Travellers Tree! Something or someone has destroyed it!" their leader explained. The Travellers Tree not only held the berries that helped the ninja to return to Ninjago, but it was also the centre of the Never-Realm. Destroy the Tree, destroy the entire realm. "There is nothing we can do, except leave this realm," he told the crowd. "How?" Kataru questioned. "The Travellers Tea no longer provides a passageway into the other realms." "Luckily, Sorla has found a way around that." Sorla nodded. "The berries from the Travellers Tree can create a portal, but only into one of the realms-Ninjago." Just then, the ground shook harder than ever before, and a massive crack ran straight through the village centre. Sorla immediately threw the berries into the air, and the portal slowly faded into view. "Woah, where did you learn to do that?" Akita asked in amazement. "Took a lot of patience and practice, but I believe this leads to Ninjago," she said. "Quickly! We must enter Ninjago before our home collapses completely!" she warned, as the ground shuddered once more. One by one, everyone stepped through, until it was just Akita and Kataru left. As she stepped through the portal, Akita couldn't help but feel a little excited at the thought of finally seeing Ninjago, even though her home was collapsing.
