Art Block? Tell me in the comments if you can relate to my issue ;-; I hope this helps you all with the same issue!! <33 Hey everyone! Recently my art has been going down hill. That’s why I was glad to have few days off of scratch, to clear my head, and just take a vacation (which I did). But, before the vacation, my issue was that I was comparing my art to other artists, that’s why my art style has been changing. I was trying to find ways to improve my art, so I have been trying other artists styles, when, what I should’ve been doing all along was trying to embrace my own style, not compare. And recently I looked at this random artist that had such a similar style to my own and I just clicked. I loved her art, it was so simple, but much like my own. SO what I did was mixed in what I like about her style with mine....and so...... here is my real art style, they are on this project and https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/416774783/ I have been also dealing with a lack in my imagination and my creativity, it was so hard to just do art and for some odd reason, it wasn't fun. I had no ideas. And I recommend to anyone who has had the same issue to just take a break and forget about scratch. Eventually once you start to miss scratch, ideas will coming running to your brain and you will be on your way back on scratch with a new fresh head, full of ideas :) That's why I deleted all my projects and started again, new and fresh and instead doing other people's styles, I’m going to embrace my own.
