He's always (Annoyingly, but funnily) narrating the scene. ▶ Hammbrad: A hammer bro who loves playing basket-ball ▶ Parry: A penguin who is -- obviously -- a genius because he likes computer programming ▶ Goombo: A "Wilderness Explorer" who stands up for Mario to protect him from the bandits... ▶ Kooplin: A powerful Koopa Wizard who informs you of great powers that are beginning to break. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- - This is a more classic-Mario style game. The reason it's called Paper Mario is because I wanted this game to be like Paper Mario, with the exception that it plays like a platformer - I will make a more traditional Paper Mario game eventually, but I plan to finish this game first... ============= { Instructions } =============== - Use the arrow keys to move or WASD - Press Z to interact (when bubble appears) - Hold X to run - Z to advance in text - C to open pause menu ============= { Features } =============== - Wall jumping - Enemies - Ability to kill and be killed - Custom Vector Graphics - Text engine (modified from @JackWong1101's text engine) - Text effects (Support for select RGB words, shake, whirl, glitch, and slam) - Platforming engine was built by me from the ground up ============= { Update Log } =============== ▶ v1.8 August 18th - Entity rendering was fixed to be smoother ▶ v1.7.2 August 18th - Koopa shell state added. ▶ v1.7.1 August 17th - First experimental Koopa Troopa... but no outline yet because I haven't finished animating him yet. ▶ v1.6.1 August 17th - Added an outline that I forgot to add... I am terrible at game design. I'd really appreciate if you guys could help me create levels, come up with ideas, and draw them.
